Update on cases of Eritrean refugees detained in Northern Sudan
Rome, September 21th, 2011.The case of Eritrean Refugees Detained in Northern Sudan, slated for deportation by the Sudanese authorities, ended in a positive way.
After the call the UN High Commissioner for Refugees by EveryOne Group and the actions of the network of NGOs active in this campaign, all prisoners are released and admitted to the Shegerab Camp in care of the UNHCR.
